March Spotlight: Steadfast Powder Coating

My name is Tim Oliver, I'm 43 years old. I was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota. I started riding BMX in 1991. I progressed pretty fast, and pulled my first flip in the summer of 93. And that opened the door for me to travel the world doing BMX shows. That is how I ended up on the east coast. I did some shows here in Allentown, and it instantly felt like home. So I moved here. I almost moved last year, but the friends I have made here made it too hard to move.

I have been working on and off as a powder coater for over 21 years now, and the company I am working for now stopped all the outside powder coating. So now its just the parts we make and coat. Well that didn't sit well with me, so I decided to start my own business. Steadfast Powder Coating. I do a lot of BMX frames and custom color projects. I am stoked to see what the next chapter of life brings. Work hard to play hard.
